The Tranquerah Mosque, or Masjid Tengkera at Klebang must be one of the most inspirational mosque in Melaka. Though it is not as old as the one in Temple Street, it certainly has lots of charms in terms of architectural details. The design is a perfect example of globalisation before even the invention of the term itself - blend of Chinese architecture and Muslim faith. The rich and ornate details of the mosque had always captivated my attention but I've never taken the time to photograph it - until now...
