Up Gunung Brinchang on a sunny December morning...the vista from 6600 feet above sea level

On a clear sunny morning, the most spetacular views can be had from atop Gunung Brinchang at 6666 feet above sea level - reached through a punishing and narrow drive up Gunung Brinchang's trail-road used by the communication tower. Not recommended unless your car has good absorbers and the car is working perfectly, especially the wheel. Drivers without experience on winding and hilly terrains should avoid trying this road as it is really a dangerous road, especially if it rains where the danger of landslide is ever present on the sensitive and high slopes...

Scarring of the lower valleys from human activities...

They continue for miles and miles, extending beyond the Bertam valley on the Pahang side...

At the Mossy Jungle trail...

The reason for the recent disasters brewing down below at the lower valleys- indiscriminate clearing of land for agricultural activities on sensitive highlands...which sadly continues to march on despite uproars from all quarters: the evil of "now money" against future needs.
