Flora at the summits of the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park

Eventhough restrained by the railings, I was able to snap a few photos at the summit of the Machinchang peaks at Langkawi islands...the walk down the slopes to get to the suspension bridge presented an opportunity to view some natural wonders of the unique peaks...

Bronze-red new shoots of a Kelat Laut shrub.

The even more attractive bark with peeling effects...

A tiny and delicate begonia.

An attractive tiny plant with velvety leaves.

A rhododendron? At this altitude?...

A Senduduk.

Tiny yellow berries of a shrub.

Beautiful flowers of a heath shrub, usually found at higher elevations.

Another velvety plant.

A tiny creeper on a rock.

A violet trumpet in the shades.

A woolly caterpillar.

Berries of an ixora.
