This strange alien-like bug came flittering around me and landed on an open earth path on a forest trail behind my house: the shape reminded me of the MUTO in Godzilla (or perhaps the other way around...)
Probably a Lantern Bug of the genus Scamandra...above photos were taken back in October 2015
